Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking an RN: Psych for a hospital contract in Amsterdam, NY. This traveler assignment requires 2 years of RN experience with psychiatric specialization and an active RN license, plus willingness to obtain NY licensure.

Responsibilities include delivering specialized psychiatric care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, monitoring patient conditions, documenting outcomes, and supporting patient safety and recovery on a 07:00–19:00 schedule for a 13-week term.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience required.
• Psych experience required.
• Active RN license required; NY licensure to be obtained if not held.
• Willingness to obtain New York licensure.

• Deliver specialized care to psychiatric patients in a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and document clinical outcomes.
• Support patient recovery and safety by advocating for their needs.
