Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care PCU 2

This position involves coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, acting as a patient advocate, and working as part of a team with ancillary and non-nursing departments.

Position Details:

  • Reports to: Department Director
  • FLSA: Non-exempt
  • Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • License: Current state RN license or multistate compact license; degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

Essential Functions:

  • Assess patient condition and care needs
  • Set goals and prescribe nursing interventions

  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies
  • Communicate with patients and oversee care provision
