A leading healthcare provider seeks a Lead RN to oversee operational matters in their Portsmouth facility. This role involves staffing management, training and ensuring adherence to guidelines while providing support to managers and clinicians. Candidates must hold a current RN license and have preferred experience in a related field.

Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
Act as a Lead RN and first point of contact for the Department and related operational matters. Assists managers and physicians with any related needs with oversight from the managers. Ensure appropriate staffing and adherence to appropriate guidelines. Creates training program and ensure competencies of each clinician through site checks and touchpoints.
Essential Job Functions
• Acts as a point person for day-to-day operational matters. This involves a degree of flexibility in covering emergency situations including arranging coverage for sickness/holiday absence and allocating duties to team members in collaboration with the Practice Managers.
• Updates weekly staffing matrix and communicates any coverage issues with appropriate Practice Managers.
• Communicates with the Team regarding any changes or updates in the department and enforces departmental workflows, policies, and procedures.
• Acts as a resource for the Managers and Administrator. This requires preparation of reports, staff feedback, policy input and creation, and rounding to each office periodically.
• Leads the interview and hiring process for all new Clinicians with oversight from the Managers. Obtains feedback from appropriate Trainers for clinical skills through a clinical assessment.
• Collaborates with appropriate Trainer to ensure training materials are up to date with current policies and procedures following any operational or clinical changes.
• Completes quarterly site visits to oversee office compliance and engage staff.
• Conducts office supply ordering, inventory oversight and management.
