Job summary

AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN assignments to deliver high-quality patient care in our inpatient unit. You will document per Medicare guidelines, collaborate with the care team, administer medications, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Shifts include days or nights, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, with orientation Monday-Friday days. Qualifications include RN license, BLS, 1+ year experience (acute or hospice preferred), and ability to handle

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (Florida)
• 1+ years of nursing experience (acute or hospice preferred)
• BLS certification required
• Ability to manage end-of-life care with compassion
• Strong documentation and Medicare guideline adherence

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and thorough documentation per Medicare guidelines.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Administers and manages medications accurately and safely.
• Assesses and reassesses patient needs to provide appropriate care.
• Educates patients and families on plan of care and changes to it.
• Delivers critical nursing care to patients with complex health issues.
