AdventHealth Home Health and Hospice Inc. in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN shifts across the Stuart Meyer Inpatient Unit and Palm Coast area.

You will deliver end-of-life care with compassion, document per Medicare guidelines, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Requirements include an RN license, an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), BLS, and 1+ years in hospice or acute care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• License: Registered Nurse (RN).

Job Description

• Schedule: PRN as needed on days or nights. Orientation is Monday-Friday dayshift for the first 2 weeks, no exception on schedule.
• Shift: Days or Nights 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am.
• Location: Covering our Stuart F Meyer Inpatient Unit, Palm Coast.
• Maintains accurate and thorough documentation per Medicare guidelines.
• Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participates in ongoing professional development and training.
• Assesses and reassesses patient needs regularly to provide appropriate care.
• Educates patients and families on plan of care and any changes to it.
• Delivers critical nursing care to patients with complex health issues.
• Manages end-of-life care issues with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Administers and manages medications accurately and safely.
