Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Westminster in Westminster, Colorado is seeking an RN to deliver, direct and supervise care within the nursing unit. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate interdisciplinary plans, and support discharge planning and family education.

Holders of RN licensure in the state (or compact) with BLS are required; ACLS is required within 90 days, with Charge Nurse ACLS also required. One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS for Charge Nurses required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Perform duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.

Hourly Rate Range- $56-$58

Earn up to an additional $6/hr with shift differentials!

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Education and Training:

Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience:

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
