Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) PRN to join our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing communities. Provide compassionate care and collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to support resident well-being.

The RN promotes, restores, and maintains residents' health by coordinating with providers and the interdisciplinary team, delivering physical and psychosocial support to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Experience with senior care preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties in line with state nursing standards and act per orders.
• Promote resident independence by teaching care plans and self-care skills.
• Monitor residents' conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Work with care associates to perform routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and document treatments.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.

Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) PRN and make a meaningful impact in our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing communities. Provide high-quality, compassionate care while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team committed to resident well-being.

The RN promotes, restores, and maintains resident’s health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates. The RN’s primary role is to provide physical and psych-social support to residents and families.

Compensation: $42.00 per hour

How you will make an impact:

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, and focusing on placing the resident first.

• Performing all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice

• Promoting resident’s independence by establishing resident care goals, teaching resident/family members to understand a resident’s condition, medication, and self-care skills

• Monitoring a resident clinical and care conditions to identify any changes in status and acting on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety

• Working alongside the care associates to perform routine nursing care to assigned residents as needed

• Maintaining infection prevention practices, administering medications, and performing treatments per orders.

• Developing and coordinating a comprehensive Holistic plan of care to meet the resident’s clinical and care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary and neighborhood team

• Supporting resident’s preferences, routines, and choices in resident’s electronic medical record

• Ensuring that documentation is current, accurate, and timely.

• Participating in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager

What you will need:

• Must have an active RN license in the State of Maryland

• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN

• Experience in caring for seniors or senior with cognitive impairment preferred

• Basic computer skills required including experience with Microsoft Office, internet and web applications

• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred

• CPR certification required.
