We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated RN Supervisor to oversee daily nursing operations and ensure exceptional care for our residents.
The RN Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day nursing activities within the facility, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as established facility policies and standards. In this leadership role, you will support nursing staff, coordinate care, and help maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents and team members.
As RN Supervisor, you will be entrusted with the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to carry out assigned duties and ensure the highest standards of care.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania in good standing
One year of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or related healthcare setting preferred
Training or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Valley View
Supervise daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
Ensure nursing staff follow job descriptions, clinical standards, and regulatory guidelines
Initiate and maintain individualized plans of care for residents
Monitor quality of care and address resident needs promptly
Report and investigate all allegations of abuse or neglect in accordance with regulations
Ensure all incident reports are completed and investigated appropriately, notifying the Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) of any concerns
Ensure adequate staffing levels of LPNs and Nursing Assistants during assigned shifts
Develop and coordinate staff assignments to ensure quality resident care
Support, guide, and mentor nursing staff to maintain high standards of practice
Perform additional duties related to nursing leadership and resident care as assigned
