Job summary

Cordova Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in our long-term care and rehabilitation setting. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to uphold the highest standards of care.

The ideal candidate holds a valid RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and strong geriatric and rehabilitation knowledge.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong geriatric and rehabilitation care knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, resident-centered nursing care.
• Assess, monitor, and document residents’ health conditions and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Identify and promptly communicate changes in resident condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants to help ensure quality care deliver.
