Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists is seeking a registered nurse at our Fleming Island, FL location to support physicians in patient care and education. The role requires IV therapy experience and a strong ability to assess patient needs, with BLS provided if not current.

Clinic hours are Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, with up to 19 hours per week during clinic operations; located at 4689 US Highway 17, Ste 2-5. This position emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered oncology care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Residence with IV therapy experience.
• Ability to assess patient needs and condition.
• Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
• Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred but not required.
