Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Venice Pinebrook Office is seeking a Registered Nurse to assist physicians in patient care and education, with emphasis on IV therapy and oncology settings. The role requires an active RN license in the state of residence, CPR/BLS certification, and strong critical thinking with excellent English communication.

Travel to clinics may be required; a valid driver's license is needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy.
• The ability to assess patient needs and condition.
• Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Current CPR certification.
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
• Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver license for travel to clinics.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
