Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse to support physicians in patient care and education at our Fleming Island clinic. The role includes IV therapy experience, strong clinical assessment, and emergency responsiveness.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, averaging up to 19 hours per week. Located at 4689 US Highway 17, Ste 2-5, Fleming Island, FL. BLS may be required within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Residence.
• Experience in IV therapy.
• Strong critical thinking and ability to act calmly in emergencies.
• Fluency in English with excellent spoken and written communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy. The ability to assess patient needs and condition. Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days). Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred but not required.
