Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state, CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments with excellent customer service.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred: BSN degree, minimum two years of acute care experience, specialty certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, implementing orders, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Providing age-specific, bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient requirements.
• Supervising by delegating tasks, evaluating care quality, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Participating in hourly patient rounding and discharge planning.
• Assessing needs on admission and throughout care across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, and safety areas.
• Setting realistic patient outcome goals with input from patients and families.
• Utilizing independent judgment to guide patient care and interventions.
