Qualifications

• Ability to take direction well but also be self-directed and motivated

Community Hospital South has an excellent opportunity available within our Preop Clinic, located in Greenwood, IN. The PreOp RN is responsible for seeing patients, reviewing medical history and working with the Hospitalist and Anesthesiologist teams to make sure that patients are ready for surgery.

Exceptional Skills And Qualifications

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Will possess strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills, will demonstrate ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task
• Will be able to take direction well but also be self-directed and motivated. Will possess a high degree of responsibility, responsiveness
• Prefer prior PACU, ED / ER, NICU, ICU or similar experience with high acuity patients
