Job summary

Community Health Network in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for PCU/ICU with a Day shift. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced 18-bed unit, focusing on neuro, stroke, and ICU-level patients not on vents.

The RN collaborates with a strong team, adheres to the Nurse Practice Act, and participates in scheduling that includes 3 12-hour shifts weekly, every 3rd weekend and a holiday rotation. A hiring bonus is offered to applicants who qualify.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN/CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accredited nursing program or three years of related nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Indiana license in the NLC.
• Demonstrated performance aligned with professional standards and Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network. The RN manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources.

The Registered Nurse will work within an exciting, fast-paced environment! The RN will work collaboratively with a great team in this 18-bed unit with a complex patient population to include neuro, strokes, and ICU level patients who are not on vents.

Your exceptional skills and qualifications

• Demonstration of performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of Community Health Network
• Demonstration of skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources
• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
