Job summary

Community Health Network in Greenwood, IN, seeks a PreOp RN to assess patients, review medical histories and coordinate with Hospitalist and Anesthesiologists to prepare for surgery. This role supports our mission to deliver exceptional care.

Ideal candidates hold an Indiana RN license, have strong communication skills and prefer experience in PACU/ED/NICU/ICU settings to handle high-acuity patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN/CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accredited nursing program, or three years related nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Indiana license (NLC)
• Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills; ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task
• Self-directed and motivated with a high degree of responsibility and responsiveness
• Prefer prior PACU, ED/ER, NICU, ICU or similar high-acuity experience

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• - Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• - Will possess strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills, will demonstrate ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task
• - Will be able to take direction well but also be self-directed and motivated. Will possess a high degree of responsibility, responsiveness
• - Prefer prior PACU, ED / ER, NICU, ICU or similar experience with high acuity patients
