Trinity Health Michigan's Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre-op/PACU team. This full-time role is in the Operating Room with 12-hour day shifts and patient care before and after surgery.

Candidates must hold a Michigan nursing license; BSN within five years is required or in progress. ICU/Prep/PACU experience and ACLS/PALS are preferred. On-call duties apply. Chelsea Hospital supports growth and development with a comprehensive benefits package.

Position Purpose:

Nurses in the Pre-op and PACU department care for patients before and after their surgical procedure. In our Operating Room at Chelsea, more than 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.

The Registered Nurse Provides quality patient centered care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs through competent clinical practice and application of the nursing process. They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit.

Shift Available: Day Shift – Varying Start Times between 7am and 9am

Status Available: Full time, benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period – every two weeks)

On call requirement – must be within 45 minutes of hospital when on call

Required Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License
• ICU and/or Prep/PACU experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS preferred
• Graduation from accredited nursing program
