Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the postpartum unit for full-time night shift in the Los Angeles area. The role involves independently applying the nursing process to provide safe, therapeutic, and efficient care within established policies and procedures.

As part of a coordinated team with physicians, staff, and families, you will deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with the California Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Critical thinking skills.
• BLS from American Heart Association.
• LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment.
• Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) from American Academy of Pediatrics.
• Violence Intervention Prevention (VIP) within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Care for a group of patients using the nursing process safely and efficiently.
• Deliver individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments and the patient’s family.
