Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a registered nurse to independently apply the nursing process and deliver high-quality patient care. You will work within a coordinated team including physicians, staff, and families, while ensuring compliance with California regulations and PIH Health policies.

This role requires active California RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, NRP and AFM training within 6 months. A Fire Card and VIP within 6 months are also expected, with at least 1 year of experience or approved training

Qualifications

• Current California RN license and active registration.
• ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
• AFM training within 6 months of employment.
• LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment.
• VIP within 6 months of employment.
• 1 year of experience or completion of a training program.

Responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on policies and procedures. Delivers individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments and the patient's family. Complies with the California Nurse Practice Act, Article 2, Section 2725 of the Business and Professions Code.
