Job summary

Lifepoint Health® at North Alabama Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Surgical Unit on night shifts. This role offers the opportunity to enhance your clinical assessment and technical skills while caring for post-surgical patients. Candidates must have an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and current RN license. Qualifications

• Current state RN license (active AL or Compact RN License) required.

How You'll Contribute

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies post-surgical needs
• Perform post-operative assessments
• Perform wound care
• Timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Multidisciplinary collaboration

What We're Looking For

• Current state RN license (active AL or Compact RN License)
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support required
• 1-2 years of experience preferred; new graduates welcome

Schedule: 3 x 12, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
