Job summary

Prime Healthcare Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago seeks a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Rehab Orthopedics department. This full-time days position covers 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with rotating holidays and weekends, providing direct patient care and coordinating with physicians.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

1. Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State. 2. BLS upon hire and maintain current.3. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
