• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• 3 years of RN patient care experience in teaching area.

Job Description

Under supervision, performs staff development and training for an assigned unit, modeling OU Health’s core values: Patients First, Relentless Excellence, Integrity, Inclusion, Learning, and Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Align behaviors with OU Health values and standards.
• Plan, implement, evaluate, and document staff development and inservice.
• Develop criteria to evaluate staff needs and training effectiveness.
• Coordinate competency development and verification activities.
• Manage nursing orientation and quality improvement activities.
• Lead Preceptor Program and CPR training per standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• 3 years of RN patient care experience in teaching area.
