Description

We are currently hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) – PeriAnesthesia Preadmit Testing (PAT) 1.0 FTE, Day Shift: 8-hour shifts (staggered start/end times) with shift times starting from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. This role will not have direct patient care duties.

This position exists to administer family-centered nursing care to patients and families, prepare patients for upcoming surgical and anesthesia procedures, and/or provide skilled assistance in navigation of the health care system as appropriate to the developmental, cultural, emotional, and medical, surgical, or rehabilitative needs of the patient and their families.This role does not provide any direct patient care but works closely with the patient/family,providersand care teams in a care coordination role.

In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, family-centered nursing care that supports optimal patient outcomes. You’ll conduct thorough assessments, create individualized and evidence-based care plans, implement interventions, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team. You’ll practice autonomously, using sound judgment and incorporating evidence-based improvements into daily work while supervising and delegating appropriately. Ongoing professional development is encouraged, with opportunities to participate in quality improvement, pursue learning, and contribute to a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Compensation & Benefits Information

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $43.28-$73.97/hour.

Pay is dependent on several factors including number of hours worked within the field, education, and certification/licensure.

  • $1.75/weekend differential
  • $2.35/evening differential
  • $4.00/night differential
