Job summary

SSH-Wyandotte in Wyandotte, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for inpatient post-ICU care. You will admit or transfer patients, perform initial and ongoing assessments, document accurately, and interpret labs and telemetry to guide care.

The role offers $52 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Shift is 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, with a thorough orientation and flexible scheduling that supports advancement within a 44,000-strong nationwide nursing team.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned
