Select Specialty Hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem day or night coverage. This PRN role offers a $55.00 per hour rate and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

You will join a national network dedicated to complex post-ICU care, with strong orientation, flexible scheduling, and potential advancement opportunities. Minimum qualifications include an active RN license in the state, BLS and ACLS required at hire.

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Document accurately using the unit's systems.

• Respond to rapid responses and codes as needed.
• Educate patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid State RN License
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required at hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Clinical experience
