Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center Pediatric Operating Room in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse to join a dynamic pediatric OR team. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to surgical patients across a range of specialties, coordinating care before, during, and after procedures.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, optimal outcomes, and a positive family experience in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and effective communication.

Our pediatric OR team supports a full range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, urology, ophthalmology, dental/oral surgery, and robotics. From tiny tonsils to complex trauma and transplants, you'll gain unmatched exposure and experience across every specialty, all while working in an environment built on teamwork, compassion, and clinical excellence.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred for this position.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
