Advocate Health's Levine Children's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pediatric Operating Room at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on coordinating comprehensive patient care across the nursing process in a fast-paced surgical environment.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, evidence-based care, and excellent patient experiences for children and families, while supporting OR readiness and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice, focusing on clinical decision making and compassionate communication to ensure the safest environment and best patient experience.

Our pediatric OR team supports a full range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, urology, ophthalmology, dental/oral surgery, and robotics. From tiny tonsils to complex trauma and transplants, you'll gain unmatched exposure and experience across every specialty, all while working in an environment built on teamwork, compassion, and clinical excellence.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred for this position.

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
