Texas Health Resources in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the PCU at Texas Health Alliance. The role offers day shifts with 6:45am-7:15pm and opportunities for professional growth.

You will collaborate with NP on site, provide patient-centered care on a 12-bed PCU, and participate in committees to improve quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1 year RN experience or completion of RN residency required.
• ACLS, CPI and NIHSS certifications required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care on a 12-bed PCU unit.
• Collaborate with providers and on-site NP team for optimal outcomes.
• Engage in self-scheduling and participate in councils/committees.
• Support safety, quality, and patient advocacy across shifts.
• Respond to patient needs with empathy and professional communication.

Work hours: Part Time (24 Hour); Day Shift, 6:45am - 7:15pm

Here's What You Need

• Nursing Diploma Nursing required OR

• Associate's Degree Nursing required OR

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required

• 2 years of PCU experience preferred

• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND

• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND

• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required AND

• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 days required AND

• NIHSS - National Institute if Health Stroke Scale Certification 60 days required
