Competenze

Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU / IMC / Stepdown - Summary

• Provide high-quality patient care in Progressive Care, Intermediate Care, and Stepdown units.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based nursing interventions.
• Monitor and assess patients with acute and complex medical conditions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and promptly report changes in patient status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and families on condition management, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in urgent and emergent situations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
• Support and mentor less experienced nursing staff as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred or required by some facilities.
• Experience working in PCU, IMC, Stepdown, or similar acute care environments preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
