Job summary

Community Health Network in Indiana is seeking a registered nurse to provide exemplary patient care across the care continuum in an 18-bed unit serving neuro, stroke, and ICU-level patients not on vents.

You will collaborate with a great team, adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and professional standards, and contribute to safe, cost-effective care while advancing your clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN/CCNE/ACEN or NLN CNEA accredited nursing program, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as an RN in Indiana with a valid license under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Demonstrated performance aligned with professional standards of practice and the Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act and the organization’s mission.
• Manage patient care across the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe, cost-effective manner.
• Work in a fast-paced 18-bed unit with neuro, stroke and ICU-level patients not on vents, collaborating with the team.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for demonstrating performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network. The RN manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources.

The Registered Nurse will work within an exciting, fast-paced environment! The RN will work collaboratively with a great team in this 18-bed unit with a complex patient population to include neuro, strokes, and ICU level patients who are not on vents.

Your exceptional skills and qualifications

• Demonstration of performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of Community Health Network
• Demonstration of skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources
• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
