We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our PCA training classes, guiding participants through the state-mandated curriculum. If you have a passion for teaching and shaping future caregivers, we invite you to join our team!

Job Responsibilities:

1. Teach state-approved PCA training courses, including classroom and hands-on instruction.
2. Prepare students for certification by delivering engaging lessons aligned with New York State Department of Health guidelines.
3. Demonstrate and oversee practical skills training, such as personal care techniques, infection control, and safety practices.
4. Evaluate student performance through quizzes, skills assessments, and feedback.
5. Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure compliance with training documentation requirements.
6. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to help students succeed.

Qualifications:

1. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State (required).
2. 1 year of Home Care experience required.
3. Experience in training or teaching healthcare courses preferred.
4. Knowledge of New York State PCA training requirements and regulations is a plus.
5. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
