Job Overview

This role acts as a leader in patient care, utilizing the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. It involves delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members, and ensuring accountability for quality patient outcomes. The role requires sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, and active participation in achieving departmental goals. Professional responsibility and accountability are essential, supporting the company's nursing philosophy.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Work Experience

• Required: None.

Certifications

• Required: Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency with computers, software, and web-based applications.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
