Job Summary And Qualifications
Under the direction of department leadership, provides high-quality, cost-effective nursing care, meeting the medical, psycho/social, spiritual, emotional, and educational needs of OR patients. Primarily responsible for preparing patients for surgical and endoscopy procedures, and assisting during surgery. Performs assessments, planning, procedures/treatments, evaluations, and updates of patient care plans to ensure high-quality care. Provides nursing care consistent with established policies, protocols, and standards, acting as a patient/family advocate to ensure appropriate care and protect patients' rights.
