Hartford Hospital in Connecticut invites applications for a PACU RN to join a new Bliss Building 10‑bay PACU team providing 24/7 post‑operative care across diverse procedures. The role requires teamwork, autonomy, communication and strong critical thinking to support safe patient recovery.
We seek a current CT RN license, BSN preferred, and BLS/ACLS certification. PACU or ICU experience is preferred, with training provided for step‑down and ED RN roles as needed.

Exciting opportunity to become a member of the new Bliss Building PACU team! Come join us in developing and growing a brand new 10 bay PACU unit that will provide 24/7 post‑operative care to patient populations of a variety of surgical and interventional procedures and services. The PACU RN recovers patients from general and regional anesthesia along with IV, conscious sedation requiring acute and ICU level of care. This position requires teamwork, autonomy, communication, and critical thinking skills, as well as collaboration, innovation, flexibility and amenability as we work with all disciplines to establish and facilitate interdepartmental workflows and relationships.
