Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's Good Samaritan Medical Center in Palm Beach County is seeking an experienced OR RN to provide specialized nursing care in a surgical setting.

The peri-operative circulating nurse coordinates patient care and advocates for the patient throughout the intraoperative experience. Florida RN licensure and BLS are required, with at least one year in an OR setting.

Qualifications

• Florida RN licensure is required.
• Basic Life Support (AHA) certification required.
• Minimum of one year as an RN in an OR setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect specialized nursing care to patients in surgery.
• Assist and coordinate peri-operative patient care as the circulating nurse.

The operating room staff nurse gives direct and indirect specialized nursing care to patients in surgery. The peri-operative nurse in the circulating role coordinates the care of the patient, is the patient advocate throughout the intra operative experience.
