Community Medical Center in Missoula, MT, seeks a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU. This 0.6 FTE position features 12-hour shifts with a midshift start and on-call rotation to support patient care.
The RN will deliver perioperative care, monitor patients from admission to discharge, and collaborate with surgical teams. Requires MT RN license, ADN, BLS; ACLS/PALS within six months.
Status/FTE: PT / 0.6 FTE
Shift length: 12 hours
Start Time: Midshift (0830-2100)
Unit: PACU
Schedule Requirements: Two (2) 12‑hour shifts and on‑call rotation.
The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the PACU setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical surgical procedures, disease processes, interventions, PACU supplies and equipment, and pharmacological agents.
