Job summary

UT Health Henderson Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Recovery Room (PACU) in Henderson, TX. This day shift, PRN position requires ADN, Texas RN license and active BLS/ACLS/PALS with trauma certifications. Prior PACU/ICU/ER experience is preferred.

You will work in a Level IV trauma center with a modern facility and strong team support. The RN will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes in a fast-paced post-anesthesia

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.
• Must maintain current Texas RN License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer and prior to direct patient care.
• ACLS and PALS are required (PALS within 90 days of hire).
• Trauma Certification Course (TNCC, ATLS, TCAR) within 1 year of hire.
