Job summary

PIH Health is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for outpatient hospice, working 8:30am–5pm in Whittier, CA. The RN will perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and educate patients and families about hospice services.

The role requires a CA RN license, BLS, and the ability to coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely care and compassionate support for terminally ill patients and their families.

Job description

Registered Nurse (RN), Outpatient Hospice, 8:30am -5pm

Provides direct nursing care including assessment, plan of care, education, and evaluation for patients certified as having a terminal illness who have elected the Hospice benefit. Performs patient duties necessary to maintain the flow of patient care as well as coordinates the delivery of care provided by other care team members and disciplines. The Hospice Registered Nurse also provides supportive care to patient’s families and/or significant others.

Required Experience
