Job summary

Bishop Drumm Retirement Center in Johnston, IA is hiring licensed nurses (RN or LPN) to deliver resident-centered care in a faith-based, compassionate team.

You’ll work full- or part-time with days, evenings, or nights; offers competitive pay up to $42/hr for RN and up to $34/hr for LPN, along with strong benefits and tuition reimbursement. Iowa license and CPR within six months are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in Iowa in good standing with no restrictions.
• CPR Certification (required within six months of hire).
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, resident-centered care under the Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents throughout their stay, from admission to discharge.
• Serve as a positive clinical role model and resource for staff.
