Job summary

National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a New Grad role. You will assess patients, administer treatments, document care, and participate in interdisciplinary planning to support safe, high-quality patient care.

Applicants should have an active RN license and a BSN from an accredited nursing school. BLS must be obtained within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within six months, and one year of experience is preferred.

  • Perform timely QI assessments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Join our team where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs). You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

How You'll Contribute
  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
  • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred
  • ASLS certification preferred
