Department/Unit Summary: 15-30 cases/day, 8-hour shifts (6:45 am - 3:15 pm) or 12-hour shifts (7 am - 7 pm). Call required 7 days with 1 weekend.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform plan-of-care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
  • Document patient care accurately.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Assist with activities of daily living and patient education tailored to age, culture, and condition.
  • Collaborate across disciplines for coordinated patient care, transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support.
  • Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Qualifications: Applicants must hold a current state RN license and a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire
  • One year of experience preferred; ASLS certification is a plus
