ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN to join our traveler program in Charleston, SC. This 13-week contract offers 36 hours per week with competitive pay and travel stipends.

Candidates must have OR circulating and scrubbing experience in General surgery, plus active RN licensure in SC or multi-state, BLS and ACLS, and a radiation badge provided by the agency. First-timers with 5+ years of experience are considered; local radius rules apply and a 60-mile distance policy will be

Qualifications

• 2 years of OR nursing experience required.
• Experience circulating General surgery cases including Surg Onc, Colorectal, MIS (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, Bariatrics.
• Experience scrubbing General OR cases including Surg Onc, Colorectal, Pans/Bili MIS (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, Bariatric.
• SC or Multi-state RN license must be in hand at start of contract.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA).
• Radiation badge is required and provided by agency.
• RTO must be provided at time of submission.
• Local 60-mile radius rule; locals may be accepted at 10% less than posted bill rate.
• Previous permanent MUSC staff must be separated for 1 year before returning as traveler.
• Traveler clearance requires SC license to be issued/active.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR for General surgery cases.
• Coordinate care for travel assignments with focus on 36 hours/week in Charleston, SC.
• Ensure licensing, certifications, and safety requirements are up to date.

Estimated Gross Pay Per Week Up To:$2105.82 (includes up to $1385.82 travel stipend)

Position Summary:

ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing clinician community. Job Requirements:

• 2 years of experience required
• Experience circulating General surgery cases for Surgical Onc, Colorectal, MIS (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, Panc/Bili, Bariatrics required
• Experience scrubbing General OR cases: Surg Onc, Colorectal, Pans/Bili MIS (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, Bariatric required
• Only first-timers with 5+ years of experience accepted
• SC or Multi-state RN license must be in hand at start of contract
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required - must be AHA
• Radiation badge required; radiation badge to be provided by agency
• RTO must be provided at the time of submission
• Facility able to call off traveler 1 shift per 2 weeks (pay period)
• Local radius rule: 60 miles; locals accepted on a case by case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate
• Previous perm staff must be separated from the MUSC system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facility until SC license is issued/active

Other Required Documentation:

• Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
• Two current clinical references
• Physical exam (completed within the past 12 months)
• TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
• Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
• Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
• Must pass background check and drug screening
