Position Summary:
This role involves providing direct clinical patient care. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing care for assigned patients per shift and at the unit level. The role also supervises staff to whom care is delegated, ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. The role supports the CNO in maintaining staff competency and managing resources related to patient care.
The candidate should have effective interpersonal and communication skills, serve as a role model, and advocate for the nursing profession.
Qualifications:
Education:
Required: Graduation from a state-approved or accredited nursing school.
Preferred: Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.
Certifications:
Required: Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice nursing as required by law or regulation; CPR certification.
