SJMHS in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the General Surgery team in a high-volume Level 1 Trauma Center. The role involves both scrub and circulating duties with on-call responsibilities and weekend/holiday rotation.
We welcome all nursing levels; applicants must have a BSN within five years of hire, a current Michigan nursing license, and BLS certification. The service covers Acute Care Surgery, Colorectal, General Surgery, Endocrinology, Urology, Gynecology and oncology.
The General Surgery Team provides patient centered care within a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center. Types of cases include: Acute Care Surgery, Colorectal, General Surgery, Endocrinology, Urology, Gynecology, and oncology.

Rotating Shift
The role will function in both scrub and circulating roles. Shifts involve on-call, and weekend/holiday rotation. When on call, the response time is 30 minutes.
All levels of nurses will be considered - both new grad and experienced are encouraged to apply.
Shifts available - Rotating
$35.64 - $49.53 – depends on experience/licensure date
Knowledge of nursing theory, practice and age specific needs. Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families. Critical thinking skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of job description. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care.
