Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a night shift Oncology Registered Nurse for a full-time role in Amarillo, TX. The RN will assess and address patients’ health needs, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and provide high-quality oncology care throughout the shift.

The position requires an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, and ACLS/BLS certifications, with BLS due within 14 days of hire. Previous acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN License.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• High School diploma or GED.
• BLS must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for patients' health status and health needs based on health data and preventive practices, in collaboration with patients and an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

The Oncology Registered Nurse is a ccountable for the health status and for health needs of patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN License.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Advanced Life Support Certification (ACLS).
• High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
