Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking an RN for an OB clinic role at Valley View Regional Medical Center in Arizona. This full-time, days shift position involves direct patient care, coordination with the care team, and ongoing education for patients and families.

Ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, and have BCLS; ACLS/PALS/Handle with Care are preferred. Join a team focused on compassionate, high-quality care in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a current state RN license and an Associate’s Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS and Handle with Care preferred.
• One year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and patient assessments.
• Documents patient care and monitors condition, communicating with care team.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal needs.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines including transfers and discharges.
• Provides patient and family education tailored to age and culture.
• Advocates for patient well‑being and participates in quality improvement.

How You’ll Contribute

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs.
• Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For
