Job summary

Perham Health in Perham, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an OB-focused role in a combined unit that includes medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetric, nursery, and swing bed patients. The position is part-time with 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, every 3rd weekend, and rotating holidays.

You will perform assessments, develop and coordinate care plans, collaborate with patients and families, and contribute to a patient-centered care approach in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Minnesota.
• Minimum of one year of RN labor and delivery experience.
• Ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, peers, physicians and other health care professionals.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

Registered Nurse (RN) Position Details

• Works primarily in OB, with occasional med/surg assignments during periods of low census, within a combined unit that includes medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetric, nursery, and swing bed patients.
• Performs assessments and provides care to patients of all ages in order to develop a plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and other health care providers.
• Coordinates services and interventions identified in care plans.
• Evaluates the patient's response to, and progress toward, their optimal patient experience and outcomes.
• Is committed to patient and family centered care.

What You Offer
