Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking an RN for the Float Pool to provide skilled, compassionate care to acutely ill adults across units. You will evaluate patient conditions, identify health concerns, and develop care plans while collaborating with the nursing team.

The role offers exposure to diverse disease processes, with a focus on safe, high-quality care and a positive patient experience. DC licensure and BLS are required, with a comprehensive benefits package available.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience in a specialty area.
• Active DC RN license and BLS for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Assess evolving patient conditions and health concerns to guide care.
• Develop and update care plans in collaboration with the nursing team.
• Deliver interventions directly or coordinate with other clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

Qualifications

This position has a hiring range of : USD $60.44 - USD $73.78 /Hr.
