Job summary

MedStar Harbor Hospital is seeking experienced RN float pool nurses for full-time night shifts in Baltimore. You will float across Med/Surg, Telemetry, Neuro, IMC/ICU and ED units, delivering bedside care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Eligibility requires ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL and 2+ years of acute-care RN experience, with MD RN license (or Compact) and BLS. ACLS/ NIHSS preferred; relocation and tuition assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years RN experience in acute care, Telemetry or IMC preferred.
• Active MD RN license or active Compact State RN license required.
• ACLS/NIHSS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float to a variety of units including Med Surg/Tele/Neuro/IMC/ICU and ED.
• Work a full-time night schedule with required weekend shifts.
• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with care teams.

Pay

• Base Pay based on working years of experience as a nurse
• Hourly float pool differential (X 12 hours)
• Night Differential (X 12 hours)
• Weekend Differential (X 12 hours)
• Charge/Preceptor Pay
• Full Benefits

Available Role:

• Full Time Nights

Requirements

• Three 12-hour shifts
• 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks
• 3 designated holidays per year
• 2 hard-to-fill shifts per year (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter Sunday, Halloween, Super Bowl Sunday, Black Friday, 4th of July Nights)

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 2 years of RN experience required; at least 2 years of acute care RN experience, particularly in Telemetry and Intermediate Care units, strongly preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). ACLS/NIHSS strongly preferred.
• The ideal candidate will have worked as a travel nurse or multiple healthcare organizations.

This position has a hiring range of

USD $39.48 - USD $63.34 /Hr.
