Job summary

Elemental Career Pathways is seeking a Per Diem RN Educator to lead a 3-week CNA Hybrid Training Program. You will guide future CNAs through hands-on skills and clinical training, converting online learning into practical confidence and experience across NYS.

Responsibilities include coordinating orientation, delivering engaging sessions, maintaining BLS certification, and tracking training records to meet NYSDOH standards.

Qualifications

• Experience providing in-service education or demonstrated skill in clinical teaching.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license through NYSED.
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.

• Maintain accurate records of training attendance and educational activities in compliance with regulatory standards and NYSDOH requirements
• Support CNA development through presentations, online learning modules, simulations, demonstrations, and hands‑on training

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred
• Experience providing in‑service education or demonstrated skill in clinical teaching
• Mandatory 1-year long‑term care experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license through NYSED
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• Must have reliable transportation
  Must be able to travel for a minimum of 5-10 days per month throughout NYS
